Please help fund turfgrass research in Georgia!!!
The Georgia Golf Course Superintendents Association (Georgia GCSA) is proud to partner with the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG) on the path to help fund turfgrass research for golf courses in our state through Rounds4Research. Through this innovative online format, we will auction tee-times from courses across the state to benefit the world-class research performed at the University of Georgia.
With some 370+ golf facilities in the state this initiative has the potential to deliver enormous benefits, and not only to golf. The industry generates around $5.3 billion in economic activity in Georgia each year. That equates to a lot of jobs, tourism, and community benefit riding on the health of our golf courses.
The University of Georgia, like many colleges and institutions across the country, is constantly battling for resources. Your support of Rounds4Research can demonstrate loud and clear that the members of the Georgia GCSA are committed to safeguarding the vitality of our industry and our state.
We ask that you please invest a few moments in securing a tee-time and completing the donation. Once your donation is secured, please return the form to the Georgia GCSA or the EIFG as soon as possible. The proceeds from the program will be donated directly to the Georgia Golf Environmental Foundation for turf research in Georgia. The Auction runs from April 21-27, 2025.
